A case study of sickle beta thalassemia ....

Friends, today I am talking about one of you .... so that you can understand ... what is sickle beta thalassemia .....

In one house the husband has sickle cell treatment while the wife has sickle cell test negative ... so they move on to pregnancy without any kind of tension ... this couple is both educated and employed so they are familiar with sickle cell..wife Stays pregnant and follows the doctor's advice and instructions throughout the pregnancy ... gives birth to a healthy baby..and a new life arrives in this couple's life with joy ... time goes by ... baby He is very healthy ... This child starts having minor problems after the age of 10 years ... shows many clinics and gets better in a short time after taking medicine but this minor ailment like body aches, fever, low blood in the body It was getting harder and harder to understand what was happening. Time passed and this child became more ill one day and was forced to be admitted to the hospital and after doing many tests he was sent back to sickle cell. Remembered and this child is being tested for Heb Electrophoresis (HPLC). And the diagnosis is sickle beta Thelesemia .... After this diagnosis, the child's mother and father again underwent Heb Electrophoresis Test, it was found that the father had sickle cell treatment but the mother was not tested before the sickleg test came negative and the mother herself Thelesemia Minor Was..so that her unborn child got sickle beta thalassemia ... it means that if possible, it is more advisable to get Hb Electrophoresis test ...

These are the experiences of my sickle cell opd that I am writing ... so sorry if there is any mistake ...
